This was a summer project performed by Dr. Muller's  medical student, Hardikkumar "Henry" Patel.   The authors found that older adults had augmented blood pressure and renal vasoconstrictor responses to local cooling of the forehead.  However, reflex responses to cold pressor test and voluntary apnea were similar between groups.  The full citation is:

Effect of healthy aging on renal vascular responses to local cooling and apnea.
