In this study, we found that young women had blunted forearm vasoconstriction in response to maximal voluntary apnea compared young men. This effect was not observed when comparing older postmenopausal women to older men. Hardikkumar "Henry" Patel was the first author on this study, Dr. Muller is the corresponding author.
