Mental stress and SSNA article accepted in Physiological Reports

April 11, 2013 This is the first article ever accepted for publication in the open access journal, Physiological Reports. In this study, we quantified peroneal nerve SSNA responses to fast-paced verbal mental arithmetic and found the responses were comparable across multiple trials.
Mental stress elicits sustained and reproducible increases in skin sympathetic nerve activity.
