I am a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. I am also Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and teach within the Master of Science in Anesthesia program.
In addition to clinical anesthesia, I also enjoy human physiology research (particularly coronary blood flow regulation, sympathetic control of the circulation, and exercise physiology). I received my PhD from Kent State University in 2009. From 2010 - 2016, I conducted research at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. During this time, students working in my lab published a total of 15 peer-reviewed manuscripts. My colleagues at Penn State and I are currently working on an NIH funded R21 grant evaluating coronary and peripheral blood flow in patients with peripheral artery disease (NIH R21 AG054940 ).
I am also considering several clinical, educational, and basic science research opportunities in Northeast Ohio. If you have questions or would like to collaborate, please contact me at either address:
