Dr. Muller's student receives prestigious research award from Penn State College of Medicine

Alvaro Vargas Pelaez has been named the recipient of the 2017 Howard E. Morgan Award, for Outstanding Achievement in Basic Research. Alvaro, a 4th year medical student working under Dr. Muller, will receive this award for his Medical Student Research project titled- Effect of adrenergic agonists on coronary blood flow: a laboratory study in healthy volunteers. This Award was established in 1988 in honor of Howard E. Morgan, M.D., the founding Chair of the Department of Physiology at the Penn State College of Medicine.
